This is definitely a matter of perspective. How do non-tech young professionals feel about this, given the huge jumps in home prices over the last few years? Probably pretty happy.
How do people in the construction industry feel, sitting on unsold inventory? It could be really bad for some of them.
How do I feel? It’s really hard to be sympathetic to people living in million dollar houses. If they leave the country maybe I can get one of those jobs in Denton.

No matter how qualified you are, unless you are in the right demographic you will not get the job. EEOC has been dead for a while.

I can't afford to live where I grew up despite graduating from a top 50 university with an EE/CS degree. I would need to make $600k/yr to afford a mortgage for a shitbox in San Jose.
